Mark S. Sears, M.A.,
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern # IMH 6277
Orlando Office

Mark has lived in Central Florida almost ten years.  He recently earned his Masters degree in Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary, Oviedo. He has a background in business working for a Fortune 100 corporation and eventually had his own small business.  Prior to returning to school to finish his undergraduate from University at Albany, then his Masters, he spent twelve years involved in volunteer youth ministry and teaching Sunday school.

In addition to joining the Episcopal Counseling Center, Mark continues to work part time at House of Hope Orlando, a home for troubled teens where he counsels teens and their families in crisis.  Through his life and work experiences, and his clinical training, he has gained a deeper understanding of Biblical healing through the integration of psychology and theology.  His continuing hope is to help others better their lives through greater insight and to find healing and reconciliation in their lives.   Mark’s specialties include:

  • Adolescent Counseling

  • Pre-marital / couples counseling (Prepare/Enrich)

  • Men’s issues

  • Attachment issues

  • Addictions

  • Same sex attraction issues

  • Reconciliation & Inner healing

Mark lives in College Park with his wife, and enjoys reading, music, swimming and spending time with their grandchildren, who live nearby.  They are active members of The Cathedral Church of St. Luke.
