Marabeth R. Dexheimer
Orlando Office
Masters Level Rollins Student Intern

Marabeth relocated to Orlando from the Northeast in 1992. She has completed all her coursework to obtain her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins Collage.

One area of interest for is grief therapy and she volunteered for several years as a Grief Facilitator at the Hope Center for Grieving Children and Families in Maitland, FL. As a widowed single parent she has strong interests in parenting issues. Marabeth has a passion for Positive Psychology, believing that we all have innate gifts and talents and we do best when we identify and maximize our strengths.

Marabeth has been an active member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church since moving to Orlando. In 1996 she became a Stephen Minister, trained as a lay person to listen to others in a caring, compassionate manner. This was a significant step on her journey to becoming a therapist. She has also served as a coordinator of Singles Programs. Currently she assists people in identifying and implementing the use of their spirtual gifts.

Marabeth enjoys spending time with her family and freinds, reading, pet-sitting and traveling. She is excited to join the staff of ECC as a student intern in September 2006 and looks forward to working with clients on a variety of issues.
