Sharon received her B.A. from the University of Florida and continued her education by earning an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Stetson University and her Ph.D. from Maimonides University.

Since resuming her career after her children were grown, Sharon has had a variety of counseling experiences with both adults and youth.  She has worked at strengthening family units through the position as director of counseling programs for families, her appointment as Parent Educator for the community college Lab School, and teaching parent skills in the community.  In addition, she is a member of the Kennedy Space Center Crisis Response Team and Nova.

Sharon was born in Central Florida and was raised in the Cathedral Church of St. Luke in Orlando.  She and her husband are long time members of Holy Trinity in Melbourne where she has been active in many areas, including Vestry and Altar Guild.  She is the Former Executive Director of the Episcopal Counseling Center and currently sees clients at the office next door to Holy Trinity Church.

In her community, Sharon is a founding member of both the Space Coast Association for Death Education & Counseling, and St. Francis for Restoration.  Professionally she is a member of Space Coast Mental Health Counselors Association, the Association of Christian Counselors and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
