Sarah and her family relocated to Winter
Park, in 1994 and she has over twenty years of experience as a professional
counselor. She graduated with a Master's degree in Psychology from Auburn
University and continued additional graduate training at the University of
South Alabama in 1991.
Sarah is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in
Florida, and a licensed Professional Counselor, and Bachelor Social Worker
in the state of Alabama. She is also a member of the National Board for
Certified Counselors and is working in the Orlando office of the Episcopal
Counseling Center.
During her years as a counselor, Sarah has enjoyed
working with a wide variety of clients with diverse backgrounds. During the
last few years, she, she has worked with many clients struggling with eating
disorders and enjoys helping them discover more effective living skills. She
likes working with individuals, couples, and families, believing strongly in
the inherent worth of all individuals. She has also developed a pre-marriage
program that is endorsed by the Bishop of the Diocese of Central Florida and
is held three times a year through the Episcopal Counseling Center.
Sarah and her husband have three children and are
active members of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Winter Park. She enjoys
relaxing with her family and two cats, reading and acting in community
productions. Additional interests include nutrition, exercise and health.
