Debbie Wennerstrom, Psy. D, MAC
Eustis Office
Clinical Psychologist

 

   

Debbie received her Doctoral degree in 1986 in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, Wheeling Il.   She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Florida.  She also has her Masters Addictions Certification. 

 Debbie has worked over the years with families; both on an individual and group basis.  She is presently employed with the Federal Government as a Deputy Chief Psychologist within the prison system.  She works as a consultant with the Celeste Foundation providing support and counseling to parents with children diagnosed with autism.  Debbie teaches psychology courses at Lake Sumter Community College.  She is a board member on the Department of Highway Safety Motor Vehicles and volunteers to review DUI programs for the State

 Debbie and her husband Vern are members of Discovery Church in Orlando Florida.  Debbie volunteers at the church on weekends as a part of the Greeters Team.  She is a volunteer with the National Organization of Victim’s Assistance and has responded to numerous crisis situations including 9/11 and the recent hurricanes we have experienced in Florida.             

 Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, which include her two dogs, a cat and a bird.  She loves to kayak, play tennis, and has become an avid runner, completing her first ½ marathon in January 06.
