Words of encouragement can be like a cool drink of water to those who are emotionally or spiritually parched. Like St. Barnabas, the "son of encouragement" in the Bible, ECC counselors are dedicated to being that voice.

Who benefits from the Barnabas Fund? People just like us. Some are our freinds, neighbors and family members. Some are widows living on fixed incomes, some are single parents struggling to make ends meet, some have gone from two-earner household to one-paycheck family or even no-paycheck family.

Each year, the generosity of individuals, churches, schools, community groups and volunteers support the ECC's Barnabas Fund. The variety of support is invaluable and makes a significant difference to the people we assist.
